电解电容放置太久如果不能采用正确的激活方式会直接导致电解电容损坏，电解电容厂家告诉您：年久的电解电容正确的激活方法。大容量电解电容放置半年或者1年以上，在重新使用的使用时候，必须采用激活的办法，才能使用，否则会导致损坏或者使用命。

　　1、用万用表电阻挡测量待激活的电解电容，当正向电阻为零或者很小时，说明该电解电容已经击穿报废。除此之外的电解电容都可以进行激活处理。

　　2、将电解电容焊接好后，首先加半压，以450V电解电容为例，可将市电电压调至130V，此时电解电容两端的直流电压是130Vx1.4=180V左右，激活24小时。

　　6、将电压调至350V，此时电解电容两端的直流电压是350Vx1.4=490V左右，继续激活．48小时或者72小时。每次激活的电解电容数量不限。
